If you haven't heard back from us in over a week, please call us at (610) 825-0111 ext. 132. By submitting your application, you are agreeing to the following terms and conditions:

1. I agree to provide the animal(s) with humane and loving care, including, but not limited to, food, water, shelter, socialization, clean conditions, and medication as prescribed.(Required)

2. I agree to transport animal(s) to the shelter, or to veterinary appointments as directed. I will strictly adhere to the foster care medical care policy and will not take it upon myself to diagnose or treat foster animals without prior consent from MCSPCA foster support staff. All medical care will be under direction of MCSPCA veterinary staff.(Required)

3. I understand that by bringing the foster animal(s) into my home, any pets I own are susceptible to illness and/or injury. I take full responsibility to keep my companion animal(s) up to date with vaccinations. I will also take reasonable measures to keep my companion animal safe and healthy. I understand that any treatment needed for my own companion animal(s), either prophylactically or due to illness/injury, is my responsibility and I will not be reimbursed by MCSPCA for any expenditures or costs incurred.(Required)

4. I understand that treatment for any injuries I incur while fostering animals (including, but not limited to, bites and scratches) is my responsibility, and I will not be reimbursed by MCSPCA for any expenditures or costs incurred. I agree to contact MCSPCA immediately for bites that break the skin and follow policies as instructed.(Required)

5. I acknowledge that MCSPCA has made no representations concerning the health or behavior of the animal(s) I am fostering. I hereby release and hold harmless MCSPCA, its employees and agents from any liability, loss, damage, or expense related to my volunteer foster activities, including but not limited to, property damage and injury to others.(Required)

6. Except in an emergency, I will comply with all instructions received from MCSPCA and will NOT deviate from any instructions as to the care and maintenance of said animal(s) without consulting with a representative of MCSPCA.(Required)

7. Except in an emergency, I will not take the animal(s) to a veterinarian without the verbal or written consent of MCSPCA.(Required)

8. I authorize MCSPCA, if it wishes, to inspect the housing and care of the foster animal(s) and will present such animal(s) to an authorized agent of MCSPCA upon request.(Required)

9. I agree to properly supervise foster care animal(s) at all times. I will keep dogs on leash when outdoors, and cats, small animals, and companion birds will be kept safely indoors at all times.(Required)

10. I agree to return foster supplies when I return the foster animals for which they were used.(Required)

11. This agreement is not transferable. If I am unable to care for the foster animal(s), I will immediately return the animal(s) to MCSPCA during normal business hours. I understand and acknowledge that I do not have any right or authority to place said animal(s) in other homes or place with other individuals. I also understand that MCSPCA may terminate the agreement at any time, and I will return all animals and loaned equipment and supplies to MCPSCA upon their request.(Required)
